. The blog is on hiatus, but the archives can be very useful.

- FeMOMhist - The blog of a feminist, mom, and historian. Duh! She covers a wide range of topics, and is a lot of fun to read.
- Food Politics - Marion Nestle's blog. Dr. Nestle is a renowned expert on nutrition and food policy, and her blog is my go to source for clear-headed views on food issues.
- Geeks in Rome - An American woman living in Rome with her Italian husband and two kids. I wonder if I like expat blogs so much because I wish I'd lived abroad at some point?
- Gravity Circus - The blog of an ob/gyn who is also a mother. I find it fascinating reading.
- Grumpy Rumblings of the Untenured, aka "Nicoleandmaggie". This is a blog maintained by two friends who are both untenured professors. Topics range, and sometimes discussions get lively, but they generally stay respectful and interesting. So just my kind of blog.

- In the Pipeline - The go to blog for pharma industry gossip and analysis.
- In the State of Tate - Another great parenting blog.
- The Bean Chronicles - Another scientist mother. The posts aren't frequent, but they are always worth a read!

Blog Roll
I haven't put up a blog roll because I struggle with not wanting to leave anyone out. But then I feel bad because there are so many blogs I read, and I enjoy using other people's blog rolls to find new things to read. So I've decided to put up a blog roll listing the blogs in my reader, with apologies upfront for anyone I've left out. I definitely check out some other blogs from time to time! Rather than try to divide these into categories, I've just made a note about each blog.
