On to other things...

Because I was so sad at the end of last week, I didn't post about some great news I got at the start of last week: Tattoo, by Michelle Rene, is an Foreword INDIES finalist!

I confess I click on this story about a young man caught tagging once and charged for many other incidents because of the San Diego connection... but read it. I found it really thought-provoking.

And here's an opinion piece about my city struggling to live up to what we say we want to do about cars and bike lanes and all that. Changing to be a less car-centric city is going to be hard.

I thought this post about the "Medicare for Anyone" policy option was really good.

Sean Illing's interview with Jonathan Metzel, author of a book about the politics of white resentment and how it hurts a lot of white people, is worth your time.
