So sorry to hear that Petunia is sick! Parenting a sick child really does feel like a climb, doesn't it? And poor petunia has had more than her share. I keep telling myself the cold season is almost over...
I'm sorry she's sick again! Hang in there. If it's just daycare colds, she should grow out of it. Tate hasn't been back to back to back sick for a while now but he sure was when he was Petunia's age.
Sorry to hear about Petunia being sick again, hope you are doing okay. This was her first winter in daycare, right? DS was sick all the time his first winter, and I used nearly 20 sick days staying home with him. Most of the time, he had a mystery "virus" or an ear infection and had to ride it out. It's so hard on the whole family too, hope you get a chance to take care of yourself once she is better!
I am so sorry to have been hearing of Petunia's sickness(es) as I follow your friendly & thoughtful blog. But I thank you for your stories, too, because at least one person in my household of 2 parents & 2 kids has been every single week since January. It's strangely comforting to know others have these trials, too. (Most of the time, despite myself, I feel certain that this is some sort of moral failing of or moral judgement about me &/or my parenting competency.) I hope the various fevers resolve themselves quickly & as mildly as possible for you all.
